Eileen Jenkins

DVM, MS, DACVIM (SAIM)

Eileen Jenkins, DVM, MS, DACVIM (SAIM), is board-certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Lynchburg, a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University, and a Master of Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University. She retired from the U.S. Army in 2020 after more than 24 years of military service in the Veterinary Corps and Chemical Corps. Her areas of special interest include gastrointestinal health and nutrition; Working Dog health and performance; canine olfaction; and decontamination for Working Dogs. Dr. Jenkins has three daughters as well a variety of feathered, finned, and furry children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, SCUBA diving and gardening.
