Erin Brown

Emergency Director

Erin grew up in a military family, and moved to Huntsville, AL in 1991. She graduated from Grissom High School in 2001, and went on to obtain a degree in Biology and Chemistry from The University of Alabama-Huntsville. Erin graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, and was a general practitioner in Huntsville and Madison for 13 years.  She has worked at HVSE Emergency part time for several years, but decided to enter full time ER medicine in 2022.  Dr. Brown’s family includes her husband (Ryan), daughter (Campbell), son (Oliver), 2 co-dependent lap pitties (Blanche and Dorothy), a Frenchie (Marti/Batpig), 2 very needy kitties (Mister Moo and Sebastian, and 2 wild and messy Guinea pigs (Clark and Cousin Eddie).  Yes her husband reminds her daily about the amount of animals.

In her spare time, Erin’s hobbies include any forms of fitness, adventures with her family, good dinners with great friends, sitting on a beach with a book, riding horses, and staying involved in church.

Special interested include internal medicine and critical care, client education, and hopefully making you laugh and feel welcome at HVSE.
